About Us
We’re entrepreneurs and operators who have founded several companies including Science Exchange, the R&D procurement and orchestration platform used by leading biopharma companies around the world. Over fourteen years, we built Science Exchange from scratch into a global enterprise. That work gave us deep experience at the intersection of research, technology, operations, and partnerships.
Today we work with a small number of partners on projects where our background creates real value. Our work includes scientific and strategic consulting, operations expertise, and advisory support for organizations across biotech, pharma, and animal health.
Alongside consulting, we are active angel investors. We back founders building new products in life sciences, healthcare, and scientific infrastructure.
Profiles
Elizabeth Iorns, PhD
Elizabeth is a scientist, entrepreneur, and founder across biotech and animal health. She co-founded Science Exchange and Unleash Therapeutics, and was the scientific founder of Transcripta Bio. She also established Y Combinator’s "YC bio" program for early stage life science companies.
Earlier in her career, she served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She holds a PhD in Cancer Biology from the Institute of Cancer Research in London.
Dan Knox
Dan is an entrepreneur, operator, and strategy consultant with experience across academia, media, SaaS, biotech, and animal health. He co-founded Science Exchange, leading its growth from inception through its acquisition by Waud Capital Partners, and co-founded Unleash Therapeutics.
His work focuses on strategy, partnerships, operations, and business building. He holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Business as well as degrees in Law, Economics, and Finance.
